Now is the Time to Rally for the The Local Movement Against GMOs!

February 21, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am

What Kind of Food System Do you Want for Pima County?

Now is time to RALLY! Bring your family, friends, and signs to the Pima County Admin Building, 130 W. Congress Street, for a RALLY at 8 am on February 21st, 2017 and then plan to attend, and speak at, the Pima County Board of Supervisor’s meeting starting at 9 am — and it’s likely to run very long!!

Monsanto is requesting “Foreign Trade Zone Status” approval. This tax incentive reduces the company’s property tax burden by 66%. This highly controversial corporate subsidy will come to a final vote at the Pima County Board of Supervisors meeting at 9 am, Tuesday, February 21st, and we need as many people as possible at both the rally and meeting.
