As a co-op, we are owned by the people who shop here. Since 1971, we’ve been deeply rooted in Tucson, showing that a business can succeed while benefiting both people and the planet. We’re committed to supporting small farmers, promoting sustainable food systems, and giving back to our community.

Unlike big corporate chains, co-ops are equally owned and democratically run by the many—not the few. We make decisions with this community in mind. Grocery dollars spent in our store stay local, supporting small farms, ethical sourcing, and transparent business practices.

Everyone is welcome to shop at our store, but ownership comes with added perks. Anyone is welcome to join by paying a one-time equity investment of $180. This is also payable in installments! And if life takes you elsewhere, your investment is fully refundable.
